Mountain Region Family Medicine was the driving force behind the renovation of the historic Press Building. The “repurposing” of this long time Kingsport landmark has been instrumental to the revitalization of the downtown area. Mountain Region Family Medicine has been practicing in the Press Building since 2011 and joined State of Franklin Healthcare Associates in January, 2021.

We consider ourselves a fun, close-knit group who recognizes there is no one-size-fits-all solution to healthcare. Because of this, our staff take pride in spending time with our patients and make it a priority to get to know you and your family, understand your unique challenges, and develop a care plan that works for you. Our physicians subscribe to the highest standards of care for our patients and continually monitor our practices against the best practices in our specialty. All MRFM physicians are board certified in either Family Practice, ABFM, or Internal Medicine, ABIM. After Hours Emergencies

For after-hours emergencies phone (423) 230-2801 and ask that the doctor on call for your doctor to be paged.

We have office staff to help keep track of telephone messages and make sure each one is answered. Our offices are open Monday through Friday. We do not keep a weekend clinic, but we take turns with “on-call duty” during hours the offices are closed, so that one of our staff physicians is available at any hour for emergencies that cannot wait until the office reopens.
