Megan Couch is a native of Kingsport, TN, and joined SoFHA in 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from East Tennessee State University in 2019 and worked extensively in dialysis and critical care as a bedside nurse. She later earned a Master of Science in Nursing/ Family Nurse Practitioner degree from King University in 2021, and she is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Megan believes that sleep is the best medicine, and she strives to achieve quality sleep for each of her patients because compromised sleep can affect the overall quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their fur babies, traveling and adventuring with her husband, painting, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
