Internal Medicine

Growing up in East Tennessee, Dr. Williams came to Johnson City Internal Medicine in 1995. After receiving a B.S. in Microbiology from East Tennessee State University he obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Upon completion of his residency in Internal Medicine in Memphis, Dr. Williams came back east, joining JCIM. He holds professional memberships in the American Medical Association and the Christian Medical/Dental Society.

Dr. Williams enjoys taking care of patients of all ages, including many geriatric patients. He and his family have been involved in several medical missions trips abroad, including Central America, South America, and Mexico. He actively serves in his church leadership and teaching. Dr. Williams and his wife have two children; they spend time together traveling, skiing, and hiking in the mountains.
