Kim Nielsen, F.N.P.

Kim Nielsen is originally from Lebanon, Virginia. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University in 1995 and started her nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit at Johnson City Medical Center. Kim completed her Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University in 2001 and began her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her FNP experience includes cardiology, pulmonology, allergy/sleep, hospice, and primary care. Kim has a special interest in chronic disease management, rural health care, and the geriatric population. When not working, she loves spending time with her husband and their four-legged children. They currently have two cats and one dog, and they have been the proud pet parents to several other rescue dogs and cats over the years. She also enjoys traveling and a quiet beach is her ideal vacation.
