Kellie Blackwell, DO is a native of Abingdon, Virginia. Dr. Blackwell attended Emory and Henry College before receiving her medical degree from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Lewis-Gale in Blacksburg, Virginia. Dr. Blackwell has a special interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management and obesity medicine. She is a board-certified family physician with over 11 years of experience providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients of all ages in the Abingdon community. She enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and their families, helping them achieve their health goals. Outside of work, Dr. Blackwell enjoys spending time with her husband and four boys. She also enjoys reading, gardening, travel, and all things Disney.
