BACK TO PROVIDERS Georganna Starnes, M.D. Medical Doctor Family Medicine Dr. Starnes is a board-certified physician originally from Englewood, TN. She is an honors graduate of ETSU, Quillen College of Medicine, and Bristol Family Medicine Residency Program where she was recognized as Outstanding Senior Medical Student Entering Family Medicine in 2010 and Outstanding Senior Resident of the Year in 2013. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Starnes enjoys teaching medical students about not only the science but the art of medicine as well. She loves being able to take care of entire families over their lifetime and helping them to navigate various aspects of their health with a focus on preventative care. She lives on a small farm in Greene County with her husband, Robert, who is a Greene County native and local barber, and their 4 children-Caroline, Brady, Averhett, and Gemma. She stays busy with the children’s many activities and enjoys outdoor life on their small farm gathering eggs and growing a large garden. She loves sports being a past competitive swimmer, basketball player, and tennis player and is an avid VOLS fan.
