Dr. Felix Fernandez is a family practitioner and has been serving patients for more than 17 years. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2000 and completed residency at Palmetto General Hospital, Florida in 2003. For the past 6 years, he has been practicing in the Greeneville area. He chose family medicine because of the relationships with patients and the diversity in the scope of practice. Prior to medical school, he was a Naval Aviator in the United States Navy for 7 years and 8 years in the reserves. He took part in a number of operations most notably combat missions in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

He and his wife have been happily married for over 30 years and they have two children. On his spare time, Dr. Fernandez enjoys boating, fishing, camping and traveling with his family. He tries to live his life by the motto: Never stop learning and experiencing life to the fullest.
