Emily Sunshine McDaniel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Sunshine is a Southwest Virginia native, and she will always call this area home. She attended King University in Bristol, Tennessee where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration. She has over 10 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the intensive care units of Bristol Regional Medical Center, Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, Genesis Healthcare System, and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Sunshine understands and recognizes the importance of providing holistic care as well as treating patients with kindness and compassion. In her spare time, Sunshine enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband love to travel, take family vacations and spend time with their granddaughter (Addie) and their dog (Niko).

Sunshine has been blessed with a supportive family and a career where she can make a difference in her community and in the lives of the patients she serves. ​
