Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Since a young age, I have always enjoyed caring for those in need, especially after watching my mother work as a nurse practitioner. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from East Tennessee State University. After working two years in the hospital setting as a registered nurse, I found my love for women’s health and advanced practice, so I decided to go back to school at Vanderbilt University, where I received my Master’s Degree in Nursing with a certification in women’s health.

My hope is to identify not only the physical but also the psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of women from adolescence to advanced age. As a wife, daughter, sister, and a member of the local Christian community, I understand how every aspect of life impacts our health. I believe in empowering and engaging women in their health to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.

My interests away from work include spending time with my husband, family, and friends, working with my dog and horses, and being outdoors at the farm and lake. I am passionate about the Northeast Tennessee area, and I feel blessed to be able to provide care to the women and their families in the community.
