Ali Rafai, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine working as a Hospitalist for SoFHA.  He attended medical school at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran in 2005.  He scored among the top 10 on Iran’s National University Entrance exam.  After medical school, he came to the US to complete his residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ  in 2012 with an internship at SUNY at Stony Brook.  Dr. Rafai is married with a son and a daughter.  His hobbies include basketball, ancient history, philosophy and psychoanalysis.
