SoFHA Sponsors First “Salutes and Handshakes” Event

State of Franklin Healthcare Associates was proud to be a sponsor of Salutes and Handshakes, an event to attract and retain veteran talent in the Southern Appalachian region. This event represents a dedicated ongoing effort to prioritize veteran employment in this part of the country, and our Human Resources team was present to field questions about job opportunities in our organization. From WJHL – Salutes and Handshakes was created through a committee and is a result of a partnership between the Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol Chambers of Commerce and local business sponsors. The goal of the conference is to connect veterans with employers. It offers a space for them to communicate and come to an understanding of each other’s needs.
