Dr. Tammy Kitchens is a board-certified pediatrician who grew up in Kansas but now calls Tennessee her home. She graduated from the University Of Kansas School of Medicine in 1992 and completed her residency training in 1995 at Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base. Mississippi. Dr. Kitchens spent 4 more years in the Air Force taking care of the military’s children before making Tennessee her home. In addition to practicing pediatrics in Elizabethton, she also is the medical consultant for the Center of Excellence and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Kitchens and her husband have two daughters. In her free time, she loves to knit, exercise, read and be outside.
