A native of southeastern Kentucky, Silas Fiefhaus, D.P.M. received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in chemistry from University of the Cumberlands and the University of Kentucky, respectively. He worked as a quality control chemist before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. Dr. Fiefhaus completed his podiatric residency at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Dr. Fiefhaus and his wife have two dogs and two cats, and in their spare time enjoy going to the gym and being involved with church.
