Dr. Ron Blackmore is a board-certified physician with over fifteen years of experience. The St. Louis, Missouri native attended Milligan College before receiving his medical degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency at Eglin Air Force Base Family Medicine. Having spent his first year in practice in Turkey while in the Air Force, Dr. Blackmore recognizes the privilege of providing for not only the physical needs of his patients but also the emotional and spiritual. He has been a part of the Blue Ridge Family Medicine team for twelve years.

Happily married with two children, he cites the wonderful people and sweet tea as draws to the area. Although the latter may have since been given up, he continually enjoys attending church, golf, volleyball, reading, traveling, and mission work as his many activities of interest.
