Dr. Kohne completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology and Neurophysiology at Andrews University. He received his MD from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his Radiology Residency and Interventional Radiology Fellowship from Loma Linda University Medical Center. He is board-certified in Radiology; specializing in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Kohne previously served as Chief of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Takoma Regional Hospital. He was the first Radiologist to bring 3D Mammography, 3D Stereotactic Biopsy and Mammographic comfort technologies and capabilities to our region. He has had memberships in the American Medical Association, Roentgen Ray Society, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology. Outside of work, Dr. Kohne has attained various aviation ratings; including, Commercial, Instrument and Certified Flight Instructor. He also enjoys hiking, downhill skiing, and mountain biking.
