Nicholas McIntire, MD started his medical career as an Army medic at the age of 18. After a tour in Iraq, he was selected to serve as a medic in the White House Medical Unit. Dr. McIntire went on to serve in Afghanistan before he was selected to become a Special Operations medic. After 12 years in that role, he was accepted into medical school at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine and later into residency at the Bristol Family Medicine Program in Bristol, Tennessee. Dr. McIntire believes in developing relationships with his patients to better understand the whole person and how to best serve them. He has always had a heart for service and is excited to serve the patients of East Tennessee.

When not working, Dr. McIntire enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two sons. He enjoys helping to homeschool all three of his children as well as spending time as a family going to the lake, cooking, working on home projects, and playing board games. Dr. McIntire also enjoys woodworking projects, hunting, and fishing.
