Dr. Melissa Snyder is a homegrown native of the Tri-cities. Some of her most fond memories are growing up in the Sulphur Springs area of Jonesborough. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University and her medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine. She also completed her pediatric training residency with East Tennessee State University. Dr. Snyder is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Snyder grew up wanting to care for children in the area where she was raised. She is happily married and a devoted mother.
