Nurse Practitioner

OB/GYN

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. I was born and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee and have lived all my life in East Tennessee. I attended East Tennessee State University for my undergraduate degree in Nursing and went on to receive my Master of Science degree in Nursing from King University. I worked as a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery for 15 years where I also received a specialty certification for inpatient obstetrics. This is where my strong passion for Women’s Health began. I decided to further my education and become a nurse practitioner, allowing me to care for patients in an advanced practice role as a provider. Specializing in Women’s Health, I am able to continue working within the same population and provide comprehensive health care to women during all stages of life.

I am a huge advocate for patient education. I believe that being compassionate and taking the time to listen lets patients know they are important and keeps them involved in their own care. I am beyond grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to continue to work alongside the group of physicians and providers that I trust and respect. At State of Franklin OB/GYN Specialists, I look forward to providing collaborative care to all women in our region. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. My children keep me very busy being involved in multiple activities.
