The Kingsport, Tennessee, native is a graduate of East Tennessee State University and has over twenty-five years of medical experience. After receiving her BS from ETSU, she obtained her MD from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She completed her residency training at ETSU Family Practice. The board certified physician is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and holds an Assistant Clinical Teaching Professor position at the Quillen College of Medicine ETSU Family Practice program.

Dr. Hutchins is married with three children and enjoys spending any free time with family.
