Family Medicine

Originally from Elizabethton, Tennessee, Dr. Christian Robinette earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Milligan College. She completed her medical education from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then chose to return home to complete her Family Medicine residency at ETSU Family Medicine in Johnson City where she served as chief resident during her final year of residency. She has always dreamed of providing primary care to the people of her hometown and is thrilled to join the newly formed team of Highlands Family Medicine. Her goal is to improve health literacy in this area by focusing on patient education and support. She has a special interest in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, geriatrics, women’s health and osteopathic manipulative medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Robinette enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs. She loves attending church, tailgating at football games and boating at Watauga Lake. She can often be found back at her family’s farm visiting her pet goat, Luna.
