BACK TO PROVIDERS Caylee Peters, F.N.P. Nurse Practitioner OB/GYN I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from East Tennessee State University and went on to gain experience as a registered nurse working in critical care and women’s health. While working as a nurse at State of Franklin OB/GYN Specialists, I discovered a passion for serving women of all ages, life stages, and backgrounds and developed my desire to pursue an advanced practice nursing degree. With this newfound passion, I started graduate school at East Tennessee State University with the ultimate goal of returning to the field of women’s health as a Family Nurse Practitioner. SoFHA has graciously welcomed me back, and I am grateful for the opportunity to provide compassionate care to the women of East Tennessee. As a nurse practitioner providing care to a variety of women, I strive to meet my patients where they are by creating an environment in which they feel heard, understood, and valued. I am particularly passionate about patient education and hope that every woman I come into contact with leaves feeling empowered and better able to make educated decisions about their own health. Outside of work I love spending time with my wonderful husband, two dogs, family, and friends. I enjoy attending church, reading, playing volleyball, and traveling to my hometown, Chattanooga, to visit my family, especially my precious niece and nephews.
