BACK TO PROVIDERS Tonya Carr, D.O. Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Hospitalist The Kingsport, TN native is a board-certified physician by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Carr is a graduate of ETSU receiving her Bachelor of Science in History with a minor in Biology. She obtained her Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Edward Via Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA before completing her Internal Medicine residency at the Franciscan St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. Dr. Carr’s post-graduate professional career has been spent in area hospitals and the VA. She joined the SOFHA hospitalist team in Spring 2019. In her spare time, she likes to be with her daughter and rescue pets.
