Family Medicine

Dr. Buselmeier grew up in Middle Tennessee, where he attended Lipscomb University for his undergraduate degree. He relocated to Johnson City for medical school and then on to Greenwood, South Carolina, for Family Medicine residency. Once residency was complete, Dr. Buselmeier and his family made Northeast Tennessee their home, later joining Blue Ridge Family Medicine in 2024. Working with such a wonderful team of people here allows him to focus on what excites him most about practicing medicine: working alongside his patients to help them achieve better health. In addition to providing excellent patient care across each of life’s stages, he has a special interest in preventative medicine, minor skin procedures and joint injections. He loves talking with his patients, identifying health goals and working to meet those goals. Dr. Buselmeier treats his patients the way he would want his own family treated. When not at work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter, exploring God’s beautiful creation here in Appalachia.
