BACK TO PROVIDERS Ashley Shouse, D.N.P. Doctor of Nursing Practice Hospitalist Ashley Shouse, DNP, BSN, is a dedicated nurse practitioner committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in post-acute and long-term care settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University and later completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, further strengthening her clinical expertise and leadership in patient care. – Ashley primarily provides post-acute care in skilled nursing facilities and serves as a primary care provider for long-term residents. She is passionate about improving quality of life for her patients through compassionate, patient-centered care and close collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to support recovery, stability, and overall well-being. – Originally from Johnson City and having lived in Elizabethton, Ashley values the opportunity to care for members of the community she calls home. – Outside of work, Ashley treasures time with her husband and their two children. She enjoys being actively involved in their school activities, volunteering in their classrooms, serving as a team mom for her daughter’s cheer team, and acting as homeroom mom for both children.
