Originally from a small town in southern Indiana, Alexandra Loyd, PA earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. She later completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Milligan University in 2023. While at Milligan, she met her now husband, a Northeast Tennessee native. Captivated by the region’s natural beauty and close-knit community, Alexandra chose to make it her home.

Alexandra began her career as a Hospitalist and brings that expertise with her to Family Medicine. She is passionate about preventive and holistic care, and is committed to keeping God’s compassion at the heart of her practice. Alexandra values building long-term relationships with her patients and feels honored to support them through every stage of life.

Outside of medicine, Alexandra enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, and exploring the outdoors as a way to connect with God’s creation.
