I was born in Ohio and grew up in Brentwood, TN from the time I was 11 years old. I graduated from Franklin High School, went to Carson Newman University for pre-nursing, and finished my BSN at UT Knoxville. I completed my MSN at UT Knoxville in 1994, and have been blessed to work in Jefferson and Hamblen Counties as a Nurse Practitioner. I am now thrilled to be serving with Dr. Overholt and her staff.

My passion is helping people become the best that God intends for them to be. I have been a Certified Diabetic Educator for 16 years. I love helping people make lifestyle changes that help them feel better and move toward improved health. My favorite verse is John 10:10b, “I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly”.

My husband and I have been married for 40 years and are blessed with 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, and 3 wonderful grandchildren. In my spare time, I love to exercise, garden and read.
