Lori Murdock, F.N.P.
Lori Murdock is from Greeneville, TN. She began her nursing career in 2004, completing her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Virginia Highlands Community College. While working in a variety of settings including Medical-Surgical/Oncology, Labor and Delivery/Newborn Nursery, and Emergency Room settings, she went back to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 2006. She continued her career in nursing in Cardiology settings. She also held roles in Team Nurse/Discharge planning settings, as well as Cardiology settings at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center through 2012. In 2012, she furthered her education at the University of Cincinnati to obtain her Master’s Degree in 2014. She obtained her Board Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2014 and moved into the Family Nurse Practitioner Role. Since 2014, she has had experience in Pain Management, and Family Practice Settings.
Lori has devoted her life to caring for her patients and feels there is not a more rewarding career. She enjoys providing care for patients of all ages. She appreciates the scientific developments in medicine, and enjoys incorporating a variety of natural treatment options in her practice and treatment plans.
When Lori is not providing care to her patients in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is married with two children who are involved in multiple sports. She loves animals and has four dogs. She is also very involved in the community and volunteers her time as a Peewee cheerleading coach for the Boys and Girls Club and for Camp Creek Elementary School. She enjoys sporting events, especially football and basketball.
