Christopher Smith, MD graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology before earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was recognized with Presidential Honors. Dr. Smith went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University before completing his internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s College of Medicine – Chattanooga.
