Appointments for nutrition services are available with Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Monique Richard MS, RDN, LDN, RYT-200. She provides nutrition counseling for individuals with specific medical needs and health conditions or for those who wish to explore the depth of nutrition’s contribution to optimizing their overall health. Using an integrative approach and coaching techniques as well as tools to help facilitate behavior change and get to the root causes of the condition, Monique is able to individualize a plan depending on the goals desired. Monique will help to discern facts from fads while translating science-based nutrition information into simple ways that can be applied daily to enhance health and quality of life.
Nutrition counseling for a full range of needs include but are not limited to:
- Cardiovascular disease and disorders (cholesterol, triglycerides, high blood pressure)
- Gastrointestinal health (irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s Disease, colitis, gut dysbiosis)
- Chronic Kidney Disease
- Fatty Liver (NASH)
- Weight Management (underweight, obesity, weight maintenance, body composition changes)
- Food allergies, food sensitivities and intolerances
- Pediatric nutrition
- Eating Disorders
The initial visit will take approximately one hour. Upon completion, follow-up appointments (thirty minutes) will be scheduled to evaluate progress and suggest appropriate modifications in the treatment plan according to the goals and outcomes established.
Note: It is the patient’s responsibility to check insurance coverage for nutrition services covered prior to scheduling and may require a physician’s referral. All remaining charges are the patient’s responsibility.
